With only one-month advance notice of our proposed trip, we were not sure we could organize this exotic itinerary successfully. Barbara chose the best combination of islands and resorts throughout our stay which greatly enhanced our experience.
We traveled the French Polynesian Islands including Tahiti, Mo’orea, and Bora Bora. Our paradise vacation began at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tahiti that was conveniently just a five-minute transfer from the airport. Our accommodation had a view overlooking the lagoon that was absolutely breathtaking. We took a ferry to Mo’orea which is considered the heart of French Polynesia. This island was a great mix between lagoon and island. We took a tour to travel the island that stopped at all the best spots: a magic mountain, a pineapple farm, and a mini walk to a waterfall. We learned about the culture and had a traditional Polynesian meal on a private beach. It’s a beautiful island that is filled with a variety of sites.
Our next stop was Bora Bora
which was a true paradise.
We stayed in an overwater bungalow at the LeMeridian. Barbara was able to get us a complimentary upgrade with a premier view and enhanced privacy. Our upgraded bungalow was located at the end of the pier and sunrise and sunsets were amazing. The itinerary and accommodations were everything we imagined ….. and more.
The pictures that you see of the islands are always so beautiful. Bright blue clear water everywhere you look. When we got to the islands – they did not disappoint!
Waking up and seeing the sunrise from our bungalow and going for a swim is something we will remember always and quite honestly this will be a difficult trip to top!
Barbara recommended activities for us to try including swimming with sharks and rays and the jet ski tour. These excursions ended-up being some of the favorite experiences of the trip! This vacation was by far one of the best trips we have been on and between the both of us we have traveled to many places.
Barbara made the entire experience so easy so that all we had to do was enjoy everything the islands had to offer. All the details were handled as we traveled from island to island. I would highly recommend going to the French Polynesian islands and using Barbara and The Perfect Plan Events and Travel to plan it!
